Construction is well underway at Aquarion’s Rosebrook Wellfield in Bretton Woods, NH to construct a new pump station.  This project is being undertaken to address safety issues at the existing facility. This project will provide a safer work environment for operations, better control of the system, and additional redundancies to help better serve our customers.

This project consists of constructing a new facility that will house two clearwell tanks, three booster pumps, and the required chemicals for treating the water.  The new building envelope has been constructed and is ready for internal work to continue as we head into winter.  Most of the internal plumbing and electrical work will be completed by the end of the year.

This project is being supported through a combination grant/loan from the New Hampshire Drinking Water and Groundwater Trust Fund in the amount of up to $2,520,000 in loan funds and $280,000 in Grant funds.

The contractor for the project is PRB Construction and typical work hours will be weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The project is expected to be complete by July of 2025. There will likely be a moderate increase in truck traffic near the project site for construction vehicles and deliveries.
