Irrigation Schedule

Smarter watering begins with you

Homes with automatic sprinkler irrigation systems often use large volumes of water—about 40% more than homes without the systems. All that water can be harmful to healthy lawns and gardens.

Having a beautiful lawn and garden doesn’t mean you need to use a lot of water.

That’s why Aquarion worked with state and local officials to develop a mandatory, twice-weekly irrigation schedule in towns where outdoor water usage is especially high. Customers in those towns are now saving millions of gallons of water each year. Please help your community maintain its water-efficiency by following the mandatory schedule for your in-ground and above-ground sprinkler irrigation.

You may use drip irrigation, soaker hoses, and hand-held watering at any time.
