Aquarion Seeks Nominations for Environmental Champion Awards

Awards program celebrates New Hampshire’s environmental volunteers

HAMPTON, N.H. – March 1, 2022 – The Aquarion Environmental Champion Awards recognizes individuals, businesses, and organizations across New Hampshire dedicated to environmental protection and sustainability.  Now in its 9th year, the Environmental Champion Awards are an opportunity for environmental advocates to receive statewide honors for their work.


Winners in the Adult, Non-Profit Organization, and Business categories will have the opportunity to select an environmental non-profit to receive a $5,000 grant.  The winner of the Student category (grades 9-12) will receive a $1,000 award.  

“There are many organizations and individuals throughout New Hampshire dedicated preserving the state’s environment,” said Carl McMorran, Operations Manager, Aquarion Water Company of New Hampshire.  “As Stewards of the Environment, Aquarion Water Company is proud to recognize them for their outstanding commitment to the Granite State’s natural resources.”

The deadline for submissions is May 6, 2022; winners will be announced at a ceremony this summer.
