Aquarion Water Company to Begin Quarterly Sampling of Water Sources in Greenwich and Stamford

GREENWICH/STAMFORD, CONN. – July 2, 2020 – Aquarion announced today that it will begin a quarterly water sampling program along the Mianus River in Greenwich and the tributaries leading to the North Stamford reservoir in Stamford.  The sampling program will help to ensure Aquarion is delivering the highest quality water to its customers.

The water sampling program is scheduled to begin on July 7, 2020, and will conclude by June 30, 2021.  Field technicians from ESS Group, Inc. will be taking samples between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.  All ESS Group field technicians carry company identification.  When possible, technicians will utilize property easements and right of ways to access the water source.
