Project Goals and Objectives

A new water main installation project is scheduled to begin early July on Riverside Road and is expected to be completed by the end of October. The project will extend from Dickinson Drive to Alpine Drive. Final paving will then be scheduled and performed by the Town of Newtown.

Scope of Work

The project, which incorporates approximately 10,720 feet of water main, is part of an ongoing program to improve Aquarion’s water distribution system and to ensure the highest quality water.
